Born in Wichita, Kansas, Hannah graduated from Newman University with a B.S in biology and a minor in chemistry. At her undergraduate institution, she did regeneration research with Hydra vulgaris as her model organism, focusing on the potential role of apoptosis in the process of successful regeneration.
Hannah’s primary interests in lab include genetics, cellular and developmental biology, and science writing. Beyond the bench, Hannah enjoys reading, baking, and taking care of her animals.
